I do believe we will come out on the other side of this better people and much more appreciative of all our blessings. I also know there are many people in much worse circumstances than ours, and I pray daily for them. I don't mean to "poor, poor me" on this blog (although I sometimes do). This is just a small attempt to reach others in similar situations so perhaps they don't feel quite so alienated and alone during this time.

Suanne, we live in Georgia just south of Atlanta. I would love to hear more about your homelessness experience. Also, I continue to wonder what is becoming of all the people who are losing their homes. It seems the media has stopped what scant "reporting" they were doing on the foreclosure stories. I'm so thrilled to hear about your documentary. What a meaningful project!

KathyKathijanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10597840187204115722noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8002710498078072117.post-39313798458743576162009-01-15T08:46:00.000-05:002009-01-15T08:46:00.000-05:00Hi Kathy, Thank you for sharing your situation...Hi Kathy,

Thank you for sharing your situation with us. I am presently producing a documentary on "homelessness" in today's economic climate and your story has shined much light on my research, and has struck a cord in my heart. Please keep your spirits up and know that the road will smooth out eventually. I have been homeless before and lived in my van for a whole year so I could get some "unexpected" bills paid off. It made me a better person and I learned to appreciate EVERYTHING! You and your family are in my prayers.
By the way, where do you live? The Curious Bohemian https://www.blogger.com/profile/09294325744436523099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8002710498078072117.post-7979402834654471102009-01-05T19:56:00.000-05:002009-01-05T19:56:00.000-05:00Hey, Kathy, good luck to you. I agree that it's best to be realistic and keep the focus where it belongs -- on family and staying together. Our bad times made our marriage much stronger. I never expected that.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
